Sandra Sorrentino is a bilingual, seasoned clinician excited to now be working in the private sector. She conducts individual, couples and family psychotherapy as well as consultation services. Mrs. Sorrentino has been serving the South Florida community over the last 20 years as an outstanding clinician, program director, and former guidance counselor and school principal. Her extensive experience across a variety of settings include at crisis units, hospitalization programs, outpatient clinics, and private schools.   Having several daytime, evening and weekend hours gives people flexibility to incorporate their therapy needs and wellness sessions along with their extracurricular activities.

Mrs. Sorrentino specializes in child and adolescent psychology in English and Spanish, and also works with adults and families. Some of the areas she is qualified to deal with include adolescent/child issues, anxiety, behavioral issues, couples issues, depression, grief and bereavement, life coaching, parenting, school issues, social skills, stress management and women’s issues. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in 1990 and her Master’s in mental health counseling in 1998 from the Miami Institute of Psychology. She now is a registered mental health intern and independent contractor at InPsych Consultants, P.A.
