Dr. Lisa Rabinowitz is a licensed psychologist with extensive educational, training, and on-the-job experience in treating children, adolescents, adults, and group-related scenarios. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida in 2003, and obtained a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and Doctorate of Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Rabinowitz also completed an internship with Child Provider Specialists in Weston, where she provided psycho-educational evaluations to the community. She later completed her post-doctoral residency at a residential facility for adolescents through Citrus Health Network in Miami, Florida before joining InPsych Consultants, P.A. Dr. Rabinowitz has experience treating a spectrum of populations, cultures, and nationalities.
Dr. Rabinowitz’s areas of experience includes anxiety issues, anger management, child and adolescent behavioral issues, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, divorce issues, parenting issues, post-traumatic stress disorders, changes of life issues, school-related difficulties, social skills training, and stress management, job related issues, and organizational training.
Dr. Rabinowitz takes an eclectic approach to tailor each therapeutic session or evaluation to the patient’s needs so that they are able to feel comfortable, which allows them to have a more positive experience.
